The dining room is located on the ground floor. To keep our carbon footprint small, we use as much local produce as possible. We grow a number of herbs, spices, vegetables and fruits in our plantation that are used in the day-to-day cooking (subject to seasonal availability)

Breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is served daily in the dining room. Apart from the standard items such as bread, jams, butter, fruit juices, cereals, egg, coffee, tea, milk and fresh fruits in season, traditional Kerala breakfast prepared for the hosts for the day are also available for GUESTS.

Lunch and dinner can be provided on request. We highly recommend that you have at least one meal at the home stay. As you know there is a huge difference between the Kerala food served in restaurants, and the food that is cooked at home.  We do not offer set menus. Should you wish to have a meal at home, it will be made to order after discussions with the hosts based on your preferences & availability of ingredients. You will be able to taste authentic Kerala home cooked food, which is lot lighter, healthier and has more variation and flavor than restaurant food.

We welcome our guests to our kitchen and invite them to just watch and learn or take part in the cooking process. If you ask nicely, we may even share some of our secrets to make perfect home cooked Kerala dishes!

Event though we are non-vegetarians, we will be glad to whip up vegetarian dishes for our vegetarian guests.

Coffee and tea is on the house and available through out the day.

Payment for meals other than breakfast can be made upon check out.  We do not provide room service.

We do not serve alcohol but guests are welcome to carry their own.
